We currently deliver programmes across the North West and North Wales.
The young people on our programmes refer to themselves as ‘Gappies’.
3 months
WeDiscover is a three-month virtual programme for 16 - 25 year olds, where young people can discover more about themselves, through online interactive sessions and mentoring, helping them to grow in confidence and skills, and see a clear path for their future.
12 months
Six-months’ employment for 18+ year olds– comprising of four different work placements, life coaching, new skills and experiences – is followed by six-months’ dedicated support. All delivered with unashamed support, love and care.
Lifetime
Love and care is at the heart of everything we do – and that continues long after our programmes end. Every gappie remains a part of the WeMindTheGap family, with all the support and care that that brings.
WeInspire
A supportive, nurturing programme for 11-15 year olds who are struggling with traditional education. Building confidence, resilience and a sense of belonging for students in school.
Lifetime
Aged 16–25 and looking for work, but not sure where to start? We partner with trusted employers in your area to support you at the start of your working journey. We offer friendly support with job applications, interview prep, mentoring, confidence building, and connecting you with local employers, which you can access as often or as little as you need.

For every £1 invested, we return £4.32 in social value within 18 months.
For every 10 gappies, we achieve a social impact of £550,000 and public-cost savings of £190,000 – all within one year of gappies graduating.
Since our programmes began in 2014, we have delivered £5.5m in social value and £2.4m in public-cost savings. That’s a total impact of £7.9m.
70% of our graduates have remained in successful and sustainable employment, or educational opportunities which means that they have stayed clear of the benefits system. For comparison, on joining the programme, 100% of gappies were on income related benefits.
