WeMindTheGap releases the first of its new monthly insight article

We walk alongside young people across North West England and North Wales, which means we see first-hand both the challenges they face and the opportunities created by different systems, policies and approaches. That perspective brings responsibility: to be a beacon of hope, to amplify young people’s voices, and to share the insights we gain so that organisations, policymakers and communities can make informed decisions.

Young people’s futures should not depend on where they are born or live. By sharing what we learn, we can help close the gaps that still exist. In many places we see inequalities growing, but we also witness inspiring responses from communities, employers and support services.
