WeMindTheGap hosts it’s first online Trusted Referrer event

Last week, our team hosted an online event for Trusted Referrers of WeMindTheGap. It was great to see over 20 attendees, from a range of different organisations across North Wales.

During the event, we highlighted the success of our referral partnerships so far, and gave an update as to our current programme offers.

With WeGrow Flintshire well underway, WeGrow Wrexham is still accepting referrals for a January start, and is open to 18-25 year olds based in Wrexham.

Furthermore, our WeDiscover programme can provide support to any young person across Flintshire, Wrexham and North Wales, aged 16-25. This programme is mostly virtual and can be a great first step for many young people who struggle with socialising and meeting new people.

We also shared some crucial findings from our Big Conversation, about what our young people need in the wake of the pandemic, and how we can collaborate to build greater trust and reach those who most need our help. To this end, we welcome partners to join us for Com-B Behaviour Change Training on the 18^th January: Com-B Training Eventbrite
