We are delighted to have been awarded the Community Award at the 2024 Wrexham Business & Community Awards.

The award is designed to recognise the community group, charity or business that is really making a difference. It might be a special fundraising campaign or an innovative way of engaging hard-to-reach groups, but this award is looking to celebrate something different.

The judges recognised the incredible work being done at WeMindTheGap in supporting young people and our efforts in building a ‘village’ of support where our young people can thrive.

In what was a very special evening hosted by BBC Radio and TV presenter, Jason Mohammad, at the Brymbo Enterprise Centre in Wrexham, we received our award in front of 400 guests, many of whom  are already part of our growing ‘village’ of employer partners, referrers, and general supporters of WeMindTheGap.

Thank you to our trustees, Karen Campbell – Williams and Rachel Clacher for supporting us at the ceremony, it was a privilege to receive recognition in front of the wider Wrexham community.
