North-West based Alpine Fire Engineers are supporting WeMindTheGap as its official charity partner of the year, which will see Alpine support the charity to transform the futures of underserved young people.

Alpine’s employees – who have already shown their commitment to raising funds, awareness and sharing insights into prospective careers – will continue to contribute time and energy towards a variety of initiatives to help social inequality.

The latest fundraising efforts from the Alpine team involved asking customers, suppliers, and contractors to make a charitable donation to WeMindTheGap instead of Christmas gifts – raising over £500 which will be used during 2022 to provide new opportunities to young people who deserve better.

The charity provides unique programmes for under-served young people across the North West and North Wales to assist in building their confidence for a brighter future through the offer of truly unique programmes which combine adventure, work experience and life coaching.

Steven Nanda, CEO of Alpine said:

“We are thrilled to be announcing our continued partnership with WeMindTheGap as we believe their cause is amazing! Knowing that funds will be used to improve the lives of vulnerable young people is extremely humbling.”

“Providing equal opportunities in the workplace is a high priority for us and we are excited to be able to support this ethos further via our relationship with WeMindTheGap.”

Every penny raised gives young people new opportunities: 70% of the young people who graduate from WeMindTheGap programmes move into paid employment, volunteering or education.
