Laura Columbine, WeMindTheGap’s Futures Leader, has been benefiting from mentoring sessions thanks to the support of transformational change consultant, Alison Jibson.

Alison works with individuals and organisations to deliver transformational change, and she was introduced to Laura through one of WeMindTheGap’s Trustees – Louise Gatenby, founder of The Good Board.
WeMindTheGap launched a virtual WeDiscover programme in 2020 in response to the Covid pandemic, and Laura leads this programme to reach young people who need support, now more than ever.

Alison has been helping Laura to develop her leadership skills, which is particularly crucial as WeMindTheGap looks to significantly expand to reach even more under-served young people across the North West and North Wales.

Laura said of the mentoring:

Alison has been really great in helping me to explore delegation, strategy and build my general confidence in leading a team. She’s been a great at helping me to identify what’s going well and coming up with solutions for challenges that I’ve encountered.
