WeMindTheGap launches 2021 WeGrow Programme for young women in Wrexham.

WeMindTheGap is due to launch their 7th Wrexham WeGrow programme this year. The programme will start on Monday 10th May, welcoming 10 young women between the ages of 18-25 in Wrexham.

WeGrow is WeMindTheGap’s full 12-month programme. The programme gives the young people six-months’ paid employment comprising five different work placements within different industry sectors, offered by our employer partners, as well as life-coaching and new skills and experiences. This is followed by six-month’s dedicated life support.

This is the 7th programme in Wrexham. The success rate for previous programmes has been high. The WeGrow teams been able to see young people discover their passion for working in a certain industry sector; find where their ambitions lie; enrol onto college courses; find their confidence and receive offers to study their dream degree at University. All allowing them to start climbing the steps into their future.
