WeMindTheGap’s Manchester team is working in partnership with Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce in time for the launch of the next WeGrow programmes.

The team will be based in the Chamber’s offices in the city centre, which have a perfect amount of space available for them to begin the delivery of the programmes. The space in Elliot House will be used as a base for this year’s male and female cohorts.

WeGrow is a life-changing programme for 18+ year olds which includes six-months’ paid employment, work placements, coaching and mentoring sessions, activity days and experiences.

Rachel Orgill, WeMindTheGap’s North West Community Maker, said:

Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce is such an inspirational place to be based in. It is in such a great location and is a brilliant partner.

The Chamber is keen to share its building with WeMindTheGap’s Manchester team. In addition, with the Chamber being based in such a great location, WeMindTheGap’s Manchester team are hoping to be able to develop wider relationships with more organisations across Greater Manchester.

Nathan Chew, Head of Venue & Events at the Chamber, said:

We are delighted to welcome WeMindTheGap to Chamber Space. The work that the charity does, supporting disadvantaged young people in the city, is vitally important and we look forward to helping them create excellent opportunities for their cohorts, both within our venue and across our membership base.
