Bring us to
your community

Our programmes can transform the lives of young people in any location or any setting. By bringing us to your community you will enable young people to create a future they never believed was possible.

Talk to us about
changing lives

We can tailor our programmes to meet your organisation or community’s unique needs, this could include:

  • Councils
  • Youth organisations
  • Sports clubs
  • Schools and colleges
  • Public sector services

It’s about social mobility in action

We build inclusive partnerships to provide opportunities for under-served young men and women. We challenge the system and status quo, and ‘create a village to raise a child’.

This is not about ticking boxes, this is about real and lasting change for young people who deserve better.

Why commission us?

70% of the young people who complete our programmes go onto paid employment or volunteering.

For every 10 gappies, we achieve a social impact of £550,000 and public-cost savings of £190,000 – all within one year of gappies graduating.

For every £1 invested, we return £3.60 in social value within 18 months.

When we say life changing,
we really mean it

Hannah was in an abusive relationship and living in a hostel when we met her - she didn't see a future for herself. After completing our WeGrow programme, today she has a job she loves, a car, and is saving for a mortgage.

What they think

Flintshire County Council

We first worked with Flintshire County Council in 2017/18 and have since run a further two successful programmes with full and active support from the council.

The ambition was for us to build relationships with various teams across the council to promote the programme’s opportunities. From the Leaving Care team to tenancy and housing, to employability to youth justice, we have successfully worked in partnership with the leadership team and staff as they strive to deliver their social value agenda. By collaborating with some of the county’s largest employers we demonstrate our public-private approach. Always on hand to help resolve challenges and leverage support across the council and its providers, they are always there to celebrate our wins at Graduation.

“After running the pilot scheme last year and observing the very real impact on these young women, and the unprecedented number that have remained outside the benefits system, we have commissioned WeMindTheGap to run a programme every year.”

– Colin Everett, CEO, Flintshire County Council
