WeMindTheGap offer young people a transformational Kickstart.

WeMindTheGap has been successful in securing 18 places for young people to complete their programmes through the Government’s Kickstart Scheme.

The Kickstart Scheme provides funding to create new jobs for 16- to 24-year-olds on Universal Credit who are at risk of long-term unemployment. The Scheme was launched in 2020 in response to the pandemic.

Thanks to the funding, this spring, 18 Kickstart funded gappies will join one of our WeGrow programmes in Wrexham, Flintshire, or in one of our two Manchester programmes, including our first pilot of a men’s programme.
